Italian term

produttivo e inproduttivo

Italian to English Bus/Financial Human Resources
Hi all.
Dealing with cost analysis of employees for a logistics company.

There is a section that goes as folows:

Analisi dei costi: PERSONALE (stipendi, altri costi die produttivi, inproduttivi, interinale e outsourcing).

Then at the bottom there is a section "Other ratios"
and again:

40 k€ / anno per produttivo
No more context as this is a ppt. slide (oh joy)

Any HR fans out there?

Discussion

Vincent Lemma (asker) Aug 16, 2010:
Figured something similar These guys work in the automotive logistics area - dealing with loading, unloading, picking, sorting, transport, etc. (maybe even the water boy).
Guess they'd be something like operators (to be very general).
Hey, are we translators productive? Today I fell soooo unproductive - I like it :-)
Mr Murray (X) Aug 16, 2010:
Something along the lines I think - unfortunately, office staff - secretaries, bookkeepers, etc., are considered non-productive staff. Depending on the business considered, they're dividing staff along the lines of something like 'office staff' and 'manufacturing/fabricating' staff.

It would be easier to pick specific adjectives knowing the company's precise business.
