Hi, having a difficult time with this sentence and specifically with the term scrivente funzione. This sentence is from a contract and relates to the approval of price lists by the principal prior to them becoming effective.

Discussion
What form does this contract take (Is it a letter which if signed by the addressee has the force of a contract)? Is it actually a contract? The "scrivente" (author) of contracts generally is a legal expert who is not a party to the contract in any way at all.
In other words, in the context you have given this doesn't really make sense.
Is it some sort of appendix to a contract?
@Edgar In my recent translation the function was a department in the company and therefore not superfluous (Why can't I just say "fluous"?).
