Italian term

uno spallamento

Italian to English Tech/Engineering Law: Patents, Trademarks, Copyright Bicycles
"Il cuscinetto inferiore viene montato in una zona non riconducibile a quella descritta al punto 4, essendo posto in corrispondenza ad uno spallamento."

Discussing a patent infringement regarding bicycles and specific parts. I presume it refers to "shoulder" in some way, but am unable to find the correct term in bicycle terminology. Is it simple referring to the frame or something more specific?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
