Italian term
mignon
Italian to English
Bus/Financial
Manufacturing
leather goods
Describing special work to be done on leather goods (may be handbags or shoes or both......)
"realizzazione di guardoli, *mignon*, timbrature, ricami, applicazione di perline, pietre..."
Ok so mignon is normally miniature or baby, but in this case does anyone have an idea what 'mignon' on its own could mean ??
Many thanks in advance

A "mignon" is any kind of strap or trim added to a bag or shoe. Look at the web site I provide to see pictures and it all becomes a whole lot clearer!

mignons
i would live it as is, because the term is French anyway (left in the singular, as Italians tend to do with foreign neologisms, c.f. i lider politici, i computer, etc.). If you want to be on the safe side (amd more correct too), just intalicise it.

No I don't want to LIVE a mignon! Just to leave it as is. Sorry...I'm getting "italicised" myself!

: This is not very helpful, because you haven't explained what it means. I certainly have no idea.
