in a list of items to be set-up for a convention there are the following: ""Preparazione e consegna del materiale dell’evento (manifesti, **cavalieri**, striscioni).
Are "cavalieri" "escorts"? or others. The other thing I can think of is that there may be a typo and they meant ""cavalletti""!!

This setup allows the name plate insert to be used in a variety of settings depending on the specific holder--the same plastic, wood, or metal name plate insert can usually be removed and reinserted into another holder style with minimal effort; thereby creating a new name plate application. I can't find this meaning of "cavaliere" on De Mauro, but I have organized lots of conferences and I am 105% sure!
