CD imaging of aneurysmal dilation correction
The context is Colour Doppler imaging for follow-up of patients fitted with an endoprosthesis for aneurysmal dilation:
"All'esame CD si dimostra la evidienza nel lume della endoprotesi di segnale cromatico riferibile a flusso; la presenza di qualche artefatto da "movimento" determina la comparsa di segnale colore anche in sede posteriore alla endoprotesi e sito proiettivamente al livello di trombo (leak)?"
I'm not sure I understand what is meant here - surely aneurysms are corrected with a simple patch? Why would there be anything else artificial behind the endoprosthesis? Or have I completely misunderstood?
