Come si può dire in inglese che gli oggetti che l'uomo produce, e di cui si circond, sono "a prorpia misura"? A misura d'uomo, appunto.

man-sized
Solo un'alternativa, poiché il contesto mi sembra sia meno umanistico di 'on a human...'.

Hi Rachel,
Yes, 'man-sized' calls for the strenght of a man or 'qualities befitting a man'. But here my question: a sentece like 'a man-sized piece of cake', is it referring only to the size of a man?
Moreover I found: 'full-sized architecture', 'life-sized objects'.
Perhaps, in order to avoid any misunderstandig, it would be less confusing 'human-sized'.

Of course my best compliments to Tom, I like very much his solution.
But, because 'human-sized' is is so categorally dismissed, herewith other examples:
human-sized CHIMPS
human-sized Dinosaur
human-sized Nest
Human-sized Costume (http://aggv.bc.ca/Exhibitions Archive.aspx?year=-1&id=2013
adult-human-sized sheep
mapping indoor and outdoor human sized objects
