Italian term

così come si presenta

Italian to English Social Sciences Psychology Personality Test
I'm having trouble putting this part of the sentence into English:

Tende a vivere la vita ogni giorno ***così come si presenta***?

My solution is:

Do you tend to live your life each day for what it is?

Can anyone provide other suggestions, because I'm not really happy with this!

Thanks in advance.

They were afraid to use carpe diem, which in Latin means "to enjoy the present". Probably thinking no one will understand the expression.

take (and live your) life as it comes..

I'd try and work it out this way, I mean around the expression 'take it as it comes'. what do you think?
