Italian term

buona novella

Italian to English Other Psychology
"XX, raccogliendo la buona novella che il vento del suo secolo andava soffiando, (ha già urlato)" original context, help with whole phrase please. An Italian friend gave me the paraphrase "assimilando/raccogliendo le novità" which my client refuses. An essay on history of psychology
Thanks

Discussion

Michael Korovkin Apr 30, 2009:
Upon receiving the good tidings "Tidings" is your word
"Good News", in English, in this usage, often means "The Bible".

But you don't allow the lowly worms non–members like me to give you answers, do you?
jacki-dart (asker) Apr 29, 2009:
Complete phrase as before, "ha già urlato nelle orecchie dei suoi contemporanei il verdetto.......
Can anyone give suggestions as to "il vento del suo secolo, etc..
Thanks again
Barbara Carrara Apr 29, 2009:
Could you post the whole sentence, please? I doubt it ends in a scream ", (ha già urlato)"... Thanks.
