Italian term
Non creare allarmismi.
Italian to English
Other
Safety
factory emergency evacuation plan
We all know what it means, but what is the right term in English?
I've just told them to "Abandon the work area in a calm and orderly manner" - "Do not run".
Now, "non creare allarmismi" ...
Do you think I can put "Do not panic"?

Avoid causing panic (among others)
Hi Alexandra, this might be an option. Take a look at the link.
Keep calm in the event of an emergency, and avoid causing panic among others. Do not push, run, or shout.

Do not engage in alarmist behaviour
I don't think "do not panic" would be right here, since what the original is asking is to not generate alarmism and to not trigger panic in other workers.
I realize my translation may sound a tad formal, but that's definitely the meaning of the phrase and I think the formal tone is still appropriate.

Thanks. Nice, but I'm afraid non-native speakers might start to look for a button of some kind! |

Keep calm.
The standard expression, which I'm sure you've all seen on posters, T-shirts, etc.

Thanks! Just used "calm" further up though ... |

Do not cause alarm
the longer, more formal version would be /do not create cause for alarm (in others)/ but I think this is enough, to the point and is what the Italian says
