Sto traducendo le caratteristiche di una "Combo Twist HP" un macchinario per palestra

Testo:
"La struttura solida con tubolare 100x50 è presentata in versione con piattine in lamiera da fissare al suolo"

Non so proprio cosa siano le piattine......grazie x l'aiuto !!

Hi - I think strips sounds a bit too flimsy. Plates seems better but it's hard to say without actually seeing them!!

plates/strips in questo caso, direi di sì. Ti avevo messo il riferimento al glossario di Kudoz e non dato una risposta perché la voce esiste già in Kudoz e bisogna evitare di creare doppioni

Comunque si', si tratta del meccanismo per fissare la macchina al suolo....ma ora sono indeciso se tradurlo con "plates" o con "strips"....potrebbero andar bene tutte e due ?

Hi - I imagine this is describing the mechanism to fix the machine to the ground to stop it from moving about. If I've understood correctly I think metal plates, or perhaps small metal plates as it's "ine" might fit better depending on the rest of the machine's description.

I think "lamiera" is generally specified as "sheet metal"
