This was purchased by a bank. I think it must mean server, as servers combine hardware and software. Can платформа ever mean server?

More on 'platform' I'm still not convinced we say platform in English. A platform is a standard for the hardware of a computer system, determining what kinds of software it can run. Or maybe I should just say ' a platform to ensure...' and omit 'hardware and software'.
