Here is the passage form Russian law on milk and milk processing where this term is used:
> При декларировании соответствия продуктов переработки молока, выпускаемых серийно, срок действия такой декларации о соответствии составляет не более чем пять лет.<
The law itself is: Федеральный закон от 12.06.2008 N 88-ФЗ (ред. от 22.07.2010) "Технический регламент на молоко и молочную продукцию", the abstract comes from Article 31, p.4.

: Incidentally,they tend to speak about dairy-derived ingredients,but not products,so you may have a usage issue here.Oh, and not to be a stickler, but didn't I just say mass-produced? You know, in the end it all comes down to following certain etiquette.

Thank you. I am not a food technologist, but my research indicates that dairy-derived products can mean dairy products, products containing dairy, as well as those containing by-products of dairy processing (for example milk permeate).

Commodity dairy products
There's not really much choice to be had with this. Commodity products - as opposed to specialty, artisanal or small batch- is probably the closest you can come. You can also say bulk product, but this refers more to packaging and transportation, as in bulk milk tanker, than actual production. That said, there's nothing awfully wrong with using mass produced here either. Take your pick.
Man, let me tell you, you gotta love your dairy out there if you have so many different names and grades for it. On the consumer level, we usually make a distinction between regular or "traditional" and organic, and that's about it.

Better make it multiple batch then as opposed to single batch. Repetitive batch just isn't right.

For this passage I was actually thinking in the lines of "When declaring the conformity of dairy products produced in repetitive batches, the declaration of conformity shall be valid for up to five years." It is opposed to procedures for single batches mentioned in the same article. |

The Russians have their own GOST with very different approaches to international systems, so certain terms just have no equivalents in ENG... And the language of their laws, aaaarrrrrgh! Hiding the meaning under tons of verbal diarrhea... |

: I'm now worrying about "declaring"! "Declaration of conformity" is fine, but some other verb seems required: I think it's "when making a declaration ..., such declaration [omit of conformity] shall be valid ...

Sure, this works, but over here we'd simply say certifying or even "before/prior to selling". It really depends on how much lipstick you are prepared to put on that pig. Cheers, David.
