(ref 1)GCE has entered an exciting period of growth with an international secretariat team being established in Johannesburg, South Africa. To lead this team, we are seeking a Global Coordinator with the strategic vision, organizational skills and networking ability to double GCE's membership and triple its impact. A background in education is not required; far more important is advocacy and campaigns experience at the international level, including at least three years experience of planning, funding and managing multi-country advocacy initiatives on similar issues (development, human rights or environment).
(ref 2)Risk and Compliance Global Coordinator: It was my responsibility to communicate with the Risk and Compliance global team about how we were performing against the targets set at the beginning of the year. As part of this, I owned a monthly Risk and Compliance newsletter, which was used by the team to give them information about performance, key deals in the pipeline and also events happening in the up and coming months. My role was dependant on the development of communication, organisational and technical skills.
