In 2009, I graduated from the University of Iowa with an MFA in literary translation. That year, I also published my first translation in Zoetrope: All-Story magazine, a short story by Brazilian writer Verónica Stigger. Since then, I've continued to translate a wide variety of work by Spanish- and Portuguese-language authors into English, focusing on prose fiction and non-fiction. I also have extensive experience translating scripts and other content for the film and TV industry.
