is the correct word here.
Assignment of the right to recovery: I hereby assign to you any and all rights to [pecuniary] recovery in the event of an unlawful use of the warranty.
Neither compensation/refund/reimbursement is totally correct here. Compensation is reward for an activity, refund is return of funds advanced, reimbursement is being made whole for expenses laid out. Here we talk about the recapture of ill-gotten assets.
Also: In declaratory statements, first person is always used: NOT: You shall assign to us..., BUT "I [We] shall assign to you"

: I feel like "compensation" corresponds rather to "Entschädigung"/"Ausgleich", so I'd also go with "refund" or "reimbursement" (as recently suggested) for "Rückersatz".
