My name is Iryna Dubrouskaya. I grew up in Belarus, which is why my native languages are Belarusian and Russian.
I went to the Minsk State Linguistic University for 3 years. My majors were English and Linguistics, and my minors were Spanish and German.
I completed multiple courses in translation, language studies, interpreting and foreign literature.
I moved to the United States many years ago. I went to college in the US and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Investments and a minor in Spanish literature.
I also study French on my own.
I enjoy studying languages very much, it has always been my passion. And translation is by far my favorite aspect of language studies.
I have been studying, working and living with native English speakers during all the years I have lived in the US. Therefore, I am fluent in English, it is almost my third native language at this point.
I am also proficient in Spanish. Though I don't consider my Spanish strong enough to be my target translation language, I am confident and comfortable translating from Spanish into Russian, English or Belarusian. |
