Bio
Having been born in London, and attending the Spanish State school in London since the age of 5 up to 18, has allowed me to develop both languages equally well. I have just finished my first year studying Law at the University of Kent and this has improved my English in a linguistic register which I had not used as much before.
At home, my mother is English and my father Spanish which again, has lead to me using both languages verbally and written with equal ease.
In addition, my father being from Galicia means i fluently speak a third, more minoritary language, Galician. The usefulness of this minoritary but official language is furthered given its close similarity to Portuguese. I hope to at least be given a chance to demonstrate my skills as many lecturers, teachers and seminar leaders at my university and college have commented very positively on my language skills.
Yours Faithfully
Francisco Amado Waters
