其英文释义如下：
定义一：
exotic option
A category of options which includes complicated components and complex payoffs. Its payoff or other key values often depend on outside factors which vary over time, such as exchange rate. Because of their complexity, exotic options are often traded over the counter rather than through an exchange. Asian-style options are one type of exotic options. opposite of plain vanilla option.

What Does Exotic Option Mean?
An option that differs from common American or European options in terms of the underlying asset or the calculation of how or when the investor receives a certain payoff. These options are more complex than options that trade on an exchange, and generally trade over the counter.
Investopedia explains Exotic Option
For example, one type of exotic option is known as a chooser option. This instrument allows an investor to choose whether the options is a put or call at a certain point during the option's life. Because this type of option can change over the holding period, it is not be found on a regular exchange, which is why it is classified as an exotic option.
Other types of exotic options include: barrier options, Asian options, digital options and compound options, among others.

“特异期权”似乎是个不错的版本。
但问题是，若按此思路，exotic currency似乎译成“特异货币”比较好。
但查了网络，并无一例。“外来货币”倒是不少。

You're welcome.
光是 "外来货币" 是肯定不对的. 美元、英镑、欧元 等对国内来说都应归为 "外币", 但这些货币都不算是 exotic currencies.

由上面这个定义来看, exotic currencies 主要指 交易量不大的小国货币. 我觉得最好找一个短语把这层意思译出来.

你这个还不好说呢. 我网上查了一下, 一般是指考察或实验后与研究课题有关的结果. 医学领域里用得很多, 比如下面这个定义 ...

person of interest 在 law enforcement 这个领域一般指有嫌疑的某个人, 也就是值得注意的人.
area of interest 在 education 或 career 中指令人感兴趣的某一专业.
outcome of interest 和这些用法相似. 在 research 里是指专业研究人员对某种考察或实验感兴趣的某些结果, 或者可以理解为是对研究课题来说具有意义的某些结果. 此外在日常生活中, 有些事情发展的某些后果(或某些方面)也往往会有特别令人感兴趣 或 值得注重的.

Please keep in mind, there could be certain outcome of interest, there also could be certain outcome that are not of interest.
To draw a parallel, say in a murder case, there could be a bunch a people that knew the victim or had access to the murder scene. Some of these people could be ruled out right away, perhaps because they had absolutely no motive to kill the victim, or perhaps they had an ironclad alibi. The people who could be ruled out are people who are not of interest... See more Please keep in mind, there could be certain outcome of interest, there also could be certain outcome that are not of interest.
To draw a parallel, say in a murder case, there could be a bunch a people that knew the victim or had access to the murder scene. Some of these people could be ruled out right away, perhaps because they had absolutely no motive to kill the victim, or perhaps they had an ironclad alibi. The people who could be ruled out are people who are not of interest to the investigation.
On the other hand, there may be people who perhaps did have a motive or perhaps had demonstrated certain suspicious behavior. This group could very well be people of interest (or persons of interest) to the authorities.
Similarly, in a research project, a certain lab experiment could generate a lot of raw data. Some of that data is of interest to the researcher, perhaps because the data can support in either proving or disproving a certain research hypothesis, whereas the rest of the data is superfluous(not of interest, or of no interest). That portion of data that is useful could be considered the "outcome of interest". The most useful of which could also be termed the "primary outcome of interest".

I am officially an investment adviser for the Fund and will help them screen, identify and present the opportunity.
I may work closer with the company to help them find investors and some company retain/contarct my services as a financial adviser to help them in the fund raising process.

"outcome of interest" 在他说的这句话中的意思可完全不同于我上面所解释的. Here he
means the outcome of this company's (or his other sources') interest in your funds.
这位老兄的意思是届时他会让你知道那家公司A 或其它的几家公司对你打算作的这笔投资是否感兴趣的结果.
说得通俗点儿, 就是届时他会通知你他联系这些公司的结果, 让你知道是否有人对你这笔投资资金感兴趣, 是否有哪家公司愿意接受你为投资者.
你可千万别上当!

A company（之前略去了它背景）是Venture Capital & Private Equity性质的公司。要提交的文件是接受投资的公司（被投资者），融资。国内的人都不怎么了解风险投资和私募基金，都算是新事物。题外话，金融危机一定程度上不就是败在类似的金融骗子手上。
对你打算作的项目是否感兴趣. 让你知道是否有人对你这个项目感兴趣, 是否有哪家公司愿意对你进行投资.
