5th ProZ.com Conference - Budapest 2007

Apr 28, 2007

Group discussion

ProZ.com, what it is and isn't

You must log in before you can access most features of this event.

Schedule:This session ended at 17:10
Description:This is NOT intended to be a discussion about ProZ.com organization, staff, goals, finance or market position. It is intended to be about what Proz.com is thought out to be, what it is and isn’t. Is it an association, a club, a trade union, a guild, a syndicate, a cartel or something else? Does its structure demand a certain (new?) type of behaviour? How can it defuse passion and abuse? How can it foster friendship and amicability? How can it improve or influence the quality level of translation? How can it make translators better? Can it, should it and/or will it develop into something different from what it is today? A few members will be contacted for a floor participation in the discussion (no panel) – together with all who sign up for this session. Henry will hopefully be the star debater.
