What about older people?
I guess more experienced people have the same right and obligation to speak out what they believe in and what they stand for. 
Maybe it's not about who, it's about what and how and even where.

I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say.
In case the words I used in my praise was not sufficiently clear, please allow me to rephrase: I'm glad to see Bin demonstrate the maturity and good sense that come across in many of her postings. To me it's refreshing and encouraging to see for someone of her generation.

I am sure your encouragement will be appreciated, by not only her but also all those who think they are in that category of youthfulness. Although, this specific post of hers sounds a little strange to me.

The tone/words used were somewhat like the red guards’ in the cultural revolution/destruction. I am not sure I like it as her other posts which I have seen.
I am also of the opinion that whereas younger people are encouraged, older people are certainly not to be discouraged. They have more experiences and more capability to speak out and lead the way. The younger ones can learn a lot from them.

Bin Tiede，你说的对。但身在中国，心有余而力不足啊。反映了，没用，你知道为什么吗？因为这里还没撞死过人，而且一个也不行，肯定得多几个以后政府才会来看看这个问题，就像“三鹿”一样。我们是应该和不好的东西做斗争，但我现在选择了量力而行，不是消极，是具有中国特色的乐观主义，否则只有被气出病来。

Perhaps you are misinterpreting my simple praise for Bin. I am in no way discouraging anyone from speaking his or her mind, regardless of age group.
I also disagree with your opinion of her post you find distasteful. IMO what she stated does not sound anything like slogans from the Cultural Revolution since it does not involve ideology. As far as I could tell, she was only advocating speaking out against things and behaviors that do not measure up to certain social and moral standards.

I doubt that's what Bin had in mind. What she said was a long way from "踏上一万只脚,让他永世不得翻身". But that's just my opinion.
