I am a professional translator in English to Greek (and vice versa), currently sharing my time between Cyprus and Greece. I specialize in Law. I have studied Law in both England and Greece, and I practiced Law in Greece and Cyprus.

Throughout my years as a lawyer-linguist, I have created a diverse translation portfolio, as I have been involved in translation projects for International and European Legal documents, EU Regulations, contracts, claims, lawsuits, legal actions, particulars of claim, MoUs, Memoranda and Articles of Association, court decisions and orders, regulations, terms and conditions, court documents, Defence Memoranda, Patents, Last Wills and Testaments, Land Titles, National Registry documents, certificates and many more.

As part of my work experience with Members of Parliament in Greece I have undertaken translation of Legal, Legislature, Political and International Relations Texts, as well as comparative reports and legal analysis or various issues.

I have also translated other documents, manuals and certificates in a wide variety of fields such as foreign affairs, politics, business, marketing, education, psychology, engineering, biology, medicine, IT as part of my collaboration with various UK Universities (through AKMI Metropolitan College in Athens, Greece) and Cosmos Translations in Athens.

Having lived and worked in both Greece and England I can understand cultural diversity and tackle issues of linguistic appropriation.

I have used various translating software programs, but I mainly prefer SDL Trados.
