Foreign capital at this stage is almost impossible to acquire, as financing institutes surely will not deal with any discovery risk (this shows also the practical approach of the European Investment Bank (EIB), which rejects application of financing for drilling phases of geothermal projects, but is willed to finance later phases which could be e.g. the construction of district heating network or power plants.)
The Pico Vermelho power plant is served by five geothermal production wells and two injection wells. Maximum temperatures recorded at this sector of the field are between 235ºC and 240ºC. The most productive horizons of geothermal fluid are between 500 and 800 meters deep. The geothermal production wells have an average flow rate of 120 tons/hour. The installed power is 10 MWel, however the power output of the plant has been consistently more than 11 MWel. The annual production is approximately 97 GWhel.

• The bench grinder is in perfect technical condition.
• The bench grinder is being used only for the intended use.
• The operating manual is being adhered to.
• All safety devices are in place and active.
Immediately remedy failures or have them remedied. Immediately stop the machine as soon as a failure of the functions occurs and secure the machine against accidental or unauthorised operation.
Immediately report any change to the responsible person.
Workpiece bearing plate
For certain grinding operations, the work-piece bearing plate can be inclined. Use the washers to level the difference in alti¬tude.
Please note that the inclination may reduce the loading absorption of the workpiece bearing plate.
The distance between the grinding wheel and the workpiece bearing plate must be as little as possible. Avoid overheating the bench grinder.
Apply only slight pressure to the piece.
If a wheel has become very dirty, the sur¬face should be scraped with a hand-held, leveller.
Respect the environment when disposing of grinding wheels.

A) Buyer assumes all risks involved in the use or possession of material delivered hereunder. Except for the foregoing warranty and the implied warranty of title, the parties hereto agree that the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose (even if the particular purpose is known by Seller) and all other warranties, express or implied, are excluded from this agreement and shall not apply to the product.
B) Any claim that material delivered hereunder does not conform to specifications set forth herein are waived unless presented in writing by Buyer to Seller within thirty days after delivery thereof. In no event shall Seller be liable for incidental or consequential damage or of specific performance.
C) Buyer acknowledges receipt of, has read, and understands the attached Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for petroleum coke delivered under this contract.
D) In no event shall either Seller or Buyer be liable for incidental, consequential, or exemplary (including, but not limited to, punitive) damages in connection with the Product. Seller's liability and Buyer's exclusive remedy for any claim or cause of action, whether based on contract, negligence or strict tort liability, is expressly limited at Seller's sole option to the replacement of, or repayment of the purchase price plus freight and insurance for, the particular shipment of the Product with respect to which damages are claimed.
Μετάφραση - Ελληνικά Γενικοί Όροι & Προϋποθέσεις:
Α) Ο Αγοραστής αναλαμβάνει όλους τους κινδύνους που προκύπτουν από τη χρήση ή την κατοχή του παραδιδόμενου υλικού στο πλαίσιο του παρόντος. Εκτός από τη γραπτή και τη σιωπηρή εγγύηση, οι συμβαλλόμενοι συμφωνούν ότι οι σιωπηρές εγγυήσεις εμπορευσιμότητας και καταλληλότητας για συγκεκριμένο σκοπό (ακόμα κι αν ο συγκεκριμένος σκοπός είναι γνωστός στον Πωλητή) και όλες οι λοιπές εγγυήσεις, ρητές ή σιωπηρές, εξαιρούνται από την παρούσα σύμβαση και δεν ισχύουν για το προϊόν.
Β) Αίρεται οποιαδήποτε απαίτηση με αιτιολογία ότι το υλικό που παραδίδεται στο πλαίσιο του παρόντος δεν συμμορφώνεται με τις τεχνικές προδιαγραφές που ορίζονται στο παρόν, εκτός εάν κατατεθεί γραπτώς από τον Αγοραστή στον Πωλητή σε διάστημα τριάντα ημερών από την παράδοση του παρόντος. Σε καμία περίπτωση ο Πωλητής δεν φέρει ευθύνη για συμπτωματικές ή αποθετικές ζημιές ή για συγκεκριμένες αποδόσεις.
Γ) Ο Αγοραστής επιβεβαιώνει ότι έχει λάβει, διαβάσει και κατανοήσει το επισυναπτόμενο Δελτίο Δεδομένων Ασφάλειας (MSDS) για τον οπτάνθρακα πετρελαίου που παραδίδεται σύμφωνα με την παρούσα σύμβαση.
Δ) Σε καμία περίπτωση δεν φέρουν ευθύνη ο Πωλητής ή ο Αγοραστής για συμπτωματικές, αποθετικές ή παραδειγματικές (συμπεριλαμβανομένων, χωρίς περιορισμό, των ποινικών) ζημιές που αφορούν το Προϊόν. Η ευθύνη του Πωλητή και η αποκλειστική αποκατάσταση του Αγοραστή για οποιαδήποτε απαίτηση ή αιτία αγωγής, βάσει σύμβασης, αμέλειας ή αντικειμενικής εξ αδικοπραξίας ευθύνης, περιορίζεται ρητά στην αποκλειστική επιλογή του Πωλητή για αντικατάσταση ή επιστροφή του ποσού αγοράς συν τα έξοδα ναύλου και ασφάλειας, για τη συγκεκριμένη μεταφορά του Προϊόντος για τις ζημιές του οποίου εκφράζονται οι απαιτήσεις.
