To date, none of my regular clients has ever asked me for a discount. Recently, one of my clients asked me if I’d be willing to edit texts that had already been translated (using DeepL), and we agreed that I would be paid by the hour…

P.S. I must say that in general the texts have been of a good quality (better than I expected), but it requires an eagle eye because of the blunders…

MTPE rate Jun 18

I would provide them with my MTPE word rate, which is a lowered translation rate by definition. After years of gaining MTPE experience and finding out several workarounds I know quite well what rate I can reasonably offer without hurting my business.
