In my place the knowledge of heritage language is getting weaker and weaker generation by generation. You have to communicate with older people in order to know the language but many young don't do that. Than there are newcomers from other, Balkan nations that doesn't help.

All members of the younger generation of the various nations in my community speak and write their heritage languages on a daily basis. That is why my city is sometimes called "Little Babylon".
