California State University, Chico College of Business, in partnership with the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA), The Localization Institute, and Austin Community College, offer a Localization Certification Program for students and professionals.

Maybe it is useful. What do you think?

Looks interesting Feb 21, 2006

but also quite far!

I've found that resource on the Internet:

http://www.clientsidenews.com/education1.asp

I am wondering if it would be worth it to take that kind of courses.
And no, I don't think you can find free courses on L10N!

experience? Feb 24, 2006

yep, it looks really interesting - I'm just wondering if being a "Certified Localizer" is much of a help since there are quite a few renown courses at universities for professional training...
Anyway, it would be great if someone who already bought the courseware could share his/her experiences!
