好啦，你们不referring to me就好了。我只是让你们知道一些情况。我对国内的专利翻译状况也是深恶痛绝的，但个人无能为力。
如果你们愿意穷追不舍，那就去追究那篇摘要会是什么单位翻译的，为什么会翻译得如此错漏百出。

Of course the criticism is not against you, but against the mentality you described in your previous post. So please don't take my comments as anything personal.

I'm of the opinion that some things, although sometimes obviously wrong, tend to be lent some legitimacy if people don't even bother to speak out against them.

我在网上经常会看到类似水平的译文，已经见怪不怪。这次就此译文提出一点我的拙见，只不过是想抛砖引玉，期待智者能人会提出一篇“信、达、雅”的译文，好让大家见识一番。怕就怕真人不露相。

为什么此摘要会译得如此错漏百出？我只认为那是国内翻译行业贱价政策的必然产物。至于具体翻译者是什么单位、什么人，是官方机构还是私营企业，我对此毫无兴趣，更谈不上穷追不舍。国内翻译行业的贱价政策与我也毫不相干。如果真如你所说，这是官方机构提供的译文，那么此问题就已经不是个别译者、个别译社的问题，而是整个体系的问题。就如同房价物价问题、三聚氰胺奶粉等问题都已经不是个别企业的问题一样。

最后想说的是，看来该译者缺乏专利翻译、首先是专利英译中的经验。凡是经常搞专利英译中的译者，或至少是经常看英文专利的人士，至少可以照猫画虎，达到“信”的水准。如果连专利英译中都搞不好，就去搞中译英，未免也太难为自己了。不过，想到这位同仁因迫于生计，也许在不到半小时内就不得不交出这300多字的译稿，挣的钱却还不够买两瓶酱油，不免也十分同情。
